Features:

◆UL V0 94 Grade Flame retardation

Silver3D PC-ABS has tested under 3.2mm and 1.6mm flame retardation. The filament reaches UL V0 94 Grade flame retardation. Also, to make sure our PC-ABS materials are more quality and reliable, our PC-ABS have passed the internationally certified yellow card test and SGS certificate.

◆Comprehensive performance

1. high impact strength. The composition of ABS allows the material to maintain the excellent mechanical performance of ABS

2. high-temperature resistance. Alloy filament inherited the advantages of pc material in terms of temperature resistance.

3. glossy surface. PC is an optically clear material, while ABS is opaque, which makes PC-ABS generally opaque. It is unable to be used in the optical applications for which the PC is specified. However, PC-ABS does retain the glossy surface of ABS and can reflect light well, offering a mirror-like shine if polished correctly.

◆Compatible with metal plating.

PC-ABS is very easy to dry plating and surface metallization, making it ideal for lighting reflectors. The PC-ABS is also suitable for electrical equipment such as housings and fittings, offering a wider range of options for post-treatment.

2. Benefits of Silver 3D filaments include:

(1). Biodegradable, non-toxic, safe, and environmentally friendly raw materials;

(2). Low shrinkage/warpage - very easy to print, even printing larger models also performs well;

(3). Low odor - ideal for printing in public spaces/office environments;

(4). Good Stiffness and strength;

(5). Excellent surface glossiness.

(6). Continuous printing with smooth extrusion

3. Typical applications include:

Large Appliances

Automotive

Traditional film injection industry

Consumer electronics, etc.

PC-ABS filament is a thermoplastic plastic made by combining polycarbonate (Polycarbonate) and polyacrylonitrile (ABS), combining the excellent properties of both materials: the formability of ABS in the mechanical aspect; the impact strength, temperature, and ultraviolet (UV) resistance of PC. Besides, PC-ABS can achieve an excellent surface finish and good compatibility with metal plating, making it popular in the engineering world.
